Senior Delivery Manager
Location: Warsaw, remote
Your responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the organisation’s core data platform.
Oversee multidisciplinary delivery and platform engineering teams across design, build, test, deployment, and operations.
Manage priorities, risks, issues, and dependencies with senior business, data, and IT stakeholders.
Ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of technology change and platform enhancements.
Drive Agile ways of working, DevSecOps practices, and modern data engineering techniques.
Manage internal and external resources, including a development budget of up to £2m.
Lead continuous improvement across delivery processes, platform performance, and engineering practices.
Ensure strong data governance, data quality, and compliance across the platform lifecycle.
Champion the adoption of modern AWS‑based data platform technologies and tooling.
Our requirements:
Degree in an IT‑related field plus relevant software or data engineering certifications.
Strong knowledge of cloud‑native data platforms, AWS services, and modern engineering practices.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, regulatory requirements, and financial services environments.
Strong leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Expertise in Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and negotiation.
Ability to manage budgets, outsourced teams, and complex delivery environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly.
Senior IT leadership experience in software development or data platform engineering.
Proven track record delivering large‑scale technology initiatives.
Experience working in matrix teams and managing third‑party suppliers.
Occasional international travel.
